Bhubaneswar: The Bharatpur police on Monday late night arrested Odia web-series and tele actor Biranchi Narayan Nayak for allegedly misbehaving and attacking the cops.
Sources say, Biranchi was on his to Kalinga Chhak from Rental Chhak in his car, when the police patrolling team at around 1.15 am, stopped his vehicle for checking.
Biranchi stepped out of his car and started abusing the police and also attacked them. He was immediately taken into custody by the Bharatpur police. A case has been lodged against him. Later, he was forwarded to a local court.
Biranchi is a resident of Puri. In order to pursue his acting career, he is residing in VIP colony in Nayapalli area.
