Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) supremo and CM Naveen Patnaik has expressed his deep condolence on the demise of former Odisha minister and senior party leader Bed Prakash Agarwalla.
Taking to his Twitter handle soon after the death of Agarwalla, Naveen expressed his grief and dubbed the loss to be personal claiming that the late leader was a close associate of Biju Babu. He stated it to be an irreparable damage to him as well as to the BJD.
ବରିଷ୍ଠ ରାଜନେତା ବେଦ ପ୍ରକାଶ ଅଗ୍ରୱାଲଙ୍କ ଦେହାନ୍ତ ବିଷୟରେ ଜାଣି ମୁଁ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଦୁଃଖିତ। ସେ ଥିଲେ ବିଜୁ ବାବୁଙ୍କ ଘନିଷ୍ଠ ଏବଂ ଦୀର୍ଘ ଦିନ ଧରି ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସେବା କରିଛନ୍ତି। ତାଙ୍କ ପରି ଜଣେ ମାର୍ଗଦର୍ଶକଙ୍କୁ ହରାଇବା ବ୍ୟତିଗତ ଭାବେ ମୋ ପାଇଁ ଏବଂ ଦଳ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ଅପୂରଣୀୟ କ୍ଷତି।

Later, in another tweet Naveen expressed his sympathy to the family members of late Agarwalla and assured that he is with them in this period of sorrow. By praying for the heavenly abode of the departed soul the CM said he stands by the side of residents of Kendrapara and Patkura in this crucial juncture.
ଏହି ଶୋକ ସମୟରେ ସ୍ବର୍ଗୀୟ ବେଦ ପ୍ରକାଶଙ୍କ ପରିବାର ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ମୋର ଗଭୀର ସମବେଦନା ଜଣାଉଛି। ତାଙ୍କ ଅମର ଆତ୍ମାର ସଦଗତି କାମନା କରିବା ସହିତ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରାପଡ଼ା ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଭଲପାଉଥିବା ଓ ସମ୍ମାନ ଦେଇଆସିଥିବା ପାଟକୁରାବାସୀଙ୍କ ସହ ମୁଁ ଛିଡ଼ା ହୋଇଛି।

Agarwalla had passed away at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar following a prolonged illness this morning.
