Bhubaneswar: Since the weekly shutdown will be enforced in urban areas of the state from tomorrow huge crowds have been witnessed in Bhubaneswar markets on Friday.
The vegetable and specifically the non-veg markets saw huge crowds with blatant violation of Covid appropriate behaviour.
In many places there was no social distancing. Many people did not have masks on their faces.
The special enforcement squad raided many crowded place in the capital. People were told to be more aware.
Shopkeepers were asked to draw circles in front of their shops.
However, many did not still follow the rules hence the Enforcement Team has fined more than 600 people.
