Miscreants rob man’s house in Bhadrak district, flee with gold ornaments kept for daughter’s marriage

In an unfortunate incident, some unidentified miscreants robed a man’s house in Bhadrak district of Odisha and fled with the gold ornaments he had kept for his daughter’s marriage.

Bhadrak: In an unfortunate incident, some unidentified miscreants robed a man’s house in Bhadrak district of Odisha and fled with the gold ornaments he had kept for his daughter’s marriage.

One Ramakant Nayak of Balipatna village under Bhadrak Puruna Bazar police station limit along with his family members had gone to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack after he fell sick.

While returning home after treatment, Ramakant and his family members stayed in the house of one of their relatives. Taking the advantage of their absence in the house, the miscreants barged into Ramakant ‘s house and looted the valuables including gold ornaments, which was kept for his daughter marriage.

On being informed about the loot by the locals, Ramakant rushed to the village and filed a complaint over the matter. Based on the complaint, cops started an investigation with the help of a sniffer dog. They are reportedly interrogating the neighbours to get some lead in the case.

Further probe is underway.
