Minor dies after being hit by Dumper in Balasore
A minor girl died after being hit by a dumper in Nahara village under Karmadha police limits of Odisha's Balasore district.
Balasore: In a tragic incident, a minor girl died after being hit by a dumper in Odisha’s Balasore district. The incident has come to the fore from the Nahara village under Karmadha police limits of the district.
The deceased minor has been identified as Anita Sethi of Nahra village.
According to sources, Anita was returning home on a bicycle with her friends when a dumper coming from Chandneswar towards Jaleshwar came at a high speed and hit her. Reportedly, Anita died on the spot after being hit by the dumper.
Following the accident, locals burnt tires and blocked the road demanding compensation.
After receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot, recovered the body and set it for autopsy. The cops have also started to probe into the matter.
