Jeypore: A COVID19 positive man has allegedly escaped from quarantine in Jeypore district of Odisha. This man, a businessperson was in home quarantine when his sample tested positive.
Sources say that the man has allegedly ignored the regulations of home quarantine and fled. Reports add that, he had some work in Vishakhapatnam and traveled there with his family.
The administration has been left red-faced due to such an act. The MLA of Jeypore Taraprasad Bahinipati has alerted the DM of Koraput and the Collector of Vishakhapatnam via a tweet.
He has requested the authorities at Vizag to search for the man there and provide proper medical care.
