Banki: On the occasion of Maha Shivratri, over 60 metals of cobra idols were found from Mahanadi River near Jatamundia bridge in Cuttack’s Banki.
Reports say, the fishermen had gone for fishing and during fishing the net got stuck in the metal objects. When verified they found over 60 cobra idols and two Busava (statue of Bull) under the water.
The locals then placed the recovered cobra idols and Busava at Shiv mandir located near the Mahanadi river. A large number of locals soon gathered at the site to have a glimpse of the idols on the occasion of Maha Shivratri.
Later, the administration visited the site and from where did it come and who placed it inside the water will be examined.
