Bhubaneswar: Lieutenant General NK Sahoo, VSM, PHDS has been conferred with the Param Vishisht Seva Medal (PVSM) by the President of India on the occasion of 73rd Republic Day.
The General Officer is an alumnus of King George’s Medical University. During his 38 years of service to the nation he has been awarded KS Master Silver Medal, two COAS Commendations and three Army Cdr Commendations.
Lieutenant General NK Sahoo has also been honoured with Life time achievement award by the Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons of India. He has also been awarded Vishisht Seva Medal by the President of India in the year 2020.
