Goat gulps rice, youth in Police Station for compensation in Odisha’s Balasore dist: Watch
Balasore: In a bizarre incident, a youth reportedly wanted to lodge complaint in the Police station demanding compensation from owner of a goat that consumed his rice. The interesting case took place in the Chintamanipada area under Soro Police station in Balasore district of Odisha on Saturday.
As per reports, the youth identified as Kuchia went to Police Station to lodge a complaint against the owner of a goat that gulped his rice.
“Test this goat sir, it has consumed my rice,” requested the youth to the Police personnel present in the Police Station. “The woman who owns the goat is arguing why I kept the doors open. Should I not go even to attend natural call?,” the youth also asked the cop.
The Police personnel were astonished to hear such an unusual demand. When investigated, it was learnt that few days back a goat had entered house of this youth and consumed the rice kept over there. Being aggrieved by the loss he killed the goat and consumed its mutton with pleasure.
After knowing about it, the owner of the goat approached Police station and demanded compensation for the loss of his goat. Accordingly, the youth had to pay Rs. 8,000 towards the compensation for the goat he killed.
Now, as the same incident repeated, and another goat of the same sneaked into the house of the youth and eaten out rice of his house, this time he did not take any direct action, but rushed to the Police station along with the goat demanding compensation for the rice the goat ate.
The unusual incident has become the talk of the town in the area.
