Girls’ High School students lock school, burn tires to block road

They were demanding action against their Mathematics teacher

Ganjam: Students of Khyatriabarapur Government Girls’ High School in Belaguntha block on Saturday locked their school and burnt tires to block the road to protest against their Mathematics teacher.

The students are protesting against the unprofessional behaviour of their Mathematics teacher.

They had previously taken up the matter to their Principal against the alleged teacher. It is alleged that the Mathematics teacher thrashed them instead.

On Saturday, the students decided to lock up the school and burn tires to block the road. They said that they had to take drastic action since the school was being unfair to them and continually sidelining their demands.
