Paradip: In a gruesome incident, four members of a family were burnt alive in an alleged family dispute in Banapat village under Kujang police limits in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district on Monday.
The deceased have been identified as Nabaghana Sahu, his wife Kamala Sahu, their daughter Rubina and son-in-law Harekrushna Mallick.
On being informed, Kujanng police reached the spot and sent the bodies for autopsy.
The neighbours, however, alleged that Harekrushna set on fire to his wife and parents-in-law, and later set himself ablaze over a family dispute.
A case has been registered in this connection and investigation is on, said police.
