Angul: Former Sundergarh MLA along with three others sustained injuries in a road mishap which took place near Khandanali in Angul district in the wee hours today.
As per the report, the MLA was en-route to Bhubaneswar from Sundergarh in some work when his SUV met with an accident and caught fire subsequently.
Some locals rescued Singh along with the other victims from the mangled vehicle and rushed them to Angul Hospital. Later, they were shifted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar, says reports.
While the SUV of the former MLA was completely reduced to ashes in the mishap, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
