Bhadrak: As many as five houses have been gutted in a major fire that broke out as a gas tank exploded in Narendrapur village of Karanjamal panchayat under Chandbali block of Bhadrak district in Odisha.
According to reports, the houses of Nata Majhi, Kata Majhi and Madhi Majhi have been burnt in the fire mishap.
The locals tried to contain the blaze but failed and immediately reported about the incident to the fire fighters.
By the time the local fire fighters arrived at the spot, properties worth lakhs were reduced to ashes.
