Fans flood Kalinga Stadium to buy Men’s Hockey World Cup 2018 tickets

Bhubaneswar: Hockey lovers made a beeline before ticket counters at Kalinga Stadium here, starting from the morning today with the beginning of the physical sale of tickets for the Men’s Hockey World Cup that is scheduled to commence from November 28.

Yesterday, the Hockey India (HI) announced for the counter sale of tickets at the Box Office located at Kalinga Stadium Gate-9 and various other outlets in the Twin City Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.

As per the announcement of the HI, the tickets will be available at the Kalinga Stadium Box Office between 10 am and 5 pm.

To woo more people into the stadium during the Hockey World Cup, the organisers have been reasonably priced the tickets for the tournament. For the pool and crossover matches ticket prices  will be East Stand (Rs 200), North Stand (Rs 100), South Stand (Rs 100). The same for the tickets knockout, semi-final and final matches will cost East Stand (Rs 250), North Stand (Rs 150) and South Stand (Rs 150).

The opening match of the tournament will be held between world number 3 Belgium number 11 Canada.

India will also face South Africa in its first match on the opening day.
