Fake doctor arrested in Odisha’s Ganjam district

Berhampur:  A fake doctor was arrested in Ganjam district of Odisha on Thursday who was practising for the last 25 years without any medical degree. The incident took place in Kalamba village under Balipadar Police Outpost limits and Buguda Police limits in the district.

The accused has been identified as Dillip Biswas, an original resident of Simurali village under Chakadaha Police limits in Nadia district of West Bengal.

As per reports, the fake doctor was running a private clinic in the name of ‘Puja clinic’ for the last 25 years at the chowk of Kalamba village. Today Balipadar Out Post police arrested him and forwarded to Court.

The fake doctor was known as ‘Bangali Doctor’ in this area. However, he did not have a medical degree or any registration of the clinic. He was playing with the lives of patients by practising as a physician although he was not a doctor.

After Police came to know about the fact BaliPadar Out Post OIC conducted raid on Puja clinic and during investigation came to know that Dillip Biswas had not any medical degree.

Accordingly, the fake doctor was arrested as per Buguda Police Station case No. 620/21 and forwarded to Court.
