Jaleswar: On the basis of intelligence input teams of STF conducted raids at different places of Jaleswar and its periphery area against illegal storage, manufacture and selling of duplicate/fake products of Zarda items.
As a result in one occasion huge quantity of duplicate Gopal Zarda and tobacco materials were seized from the possession of one Ashok Kumar Sahu of Rajpur under Jaleswar police station of Balasore district.
In this connection Jaleswar police station registered a case and investigated into it.
Similarly, heavy quantity of such duplicate product of Gopal Zarda and other tobacco products were recovered from the possession of one Chandan Chourasia of Station Bazar police station in Jaleswar under Balasore district.
In both the cases duplicate Gopal Zarda items weighing about 02 quintals worth of about 10 lakhs have been seized.
