Dhenkanal: Dhenkanal district, known for its beautiful picturesque natural tourist destinations got another addition to its list of tourist destinations with a new tribal museum. The tribal museum was inaugurated by Collector Bhumesh Chandra Behera.
On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, the Dhenkanal District Education Department organised a function and Collector Behera inaugurated the museum. A library was also set up in the museum that will exhibit tribal attires, ornaments, musical instruments and other traditional elements used by Kandha, Kutia Kandha and other tribal communities.
This museum will create awareness and knowledge on the importance of tribal people in the society.
“The library is open to the common people and tourists who can enjoy the beauty of the tribal in the museum,” the Collector said.
