Nayagah: At least 10 persons sustained injuries, 7 of them critically, following a series crash between three cars near Kaliapada under Daspalla police limits in Nayagarh district today.
According to reports, one Muna Swain’s family from Daspalla Hata Chhak had been to attend a wedding function which was being held in Bijipur near Kantilo last night. They were returning by boarding two cars when driver of another car which was travelling from the opposite direction lost control and hit one of those from the front.
The collision resulted in a series accident between the three cars at the spot leaving 10 passengers hurt.
Gania Police reached the spot immediately and rushed the victims to Daspalla Community Health Centre (CHC). At least seven out of them who were critically injured, later shifted to Nayagarh DHH.
