Bhubaneswar: In a relaxing development today, containment zones of Bhubaneswar have been freed, intimated Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC). However, lock down conditions will continue as such.
BMC has withdrawn the containment zones of Bomikhal, SatyaNagar & SuryaNagar area.
The active surveillance will continue till the next 7 days as a measure of precaution in these areas. Lockdown conditions will continue as such.

Bomikhal, Surya Nagar and Satya Nagar had been announced as containment zones with regard to COVID pandemic and these areas had been sealed. However, these areas have been freed as containment zones. However, active surveyllance will continue for the next seven days, intimated BMC.
Earlier, containment zones Sunderpada and Jadupur in Bhubaneswar had been freed.
After a few cases tested COVID positive from these areas, these patches had been sealed after being announced as containment zones.
