BMC seals Bhubaneswar DCP office following detection of Covid cases

Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has sealed the DCP office at Vani Vihar for a period of two days from January 4 to January 5 after four officials detected with Covid-19, informed Zonal Deputy Commissioner (South East) Mahendra Kumar Badhei.

According to reports, the samples of 20 officials were given for RT-PCR test among which four have been detected with the deadly virus. The covid positives have been directed to remain in isolation at their respective residences. Incase of any medical attention, the authorities of DCP office will intimate to BMC.

The premises of DCP Office, Bhubaneswar will be sanitized immediately in adherence to Covid guidelines issued by Government.

No one shall be allowed to move into and from outside the premises of DCP office during the period of sealing, except authorized personnel of BMC.
