Bhubaneswar Govt Hospitals To Provide Free Covid-19 Vaccine

Bhubaneswar: The next phase of Covid-19 vaccination in Bhubaneswar will start from March 1 for senior citizens and those over 45 years with comorbidities.

People will be administered with Covid-19 vaccine in 12 government and 10 private hospitals in the city, informs Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner Prem Chandra Chaudhury.

The COVID-19 vaccine will be provided free of cost at government hospitals in the city. However, the private hospitals will charge Rs 100 as service charge from people, said Chaudhury.

On the first day atleast 60 persons will be given Covid-19 vaccine at each vaccination site on March 1 and at private hospitals the vaccination will be carried out from Tuesday.

The vaccination will be carried out following registration by the people on Arogya Setu app and Co-Win (Co-Win 2.0) portal

The passengers arriving from outside states showing any symptoms will undergo home isolation for seven days, said Chaudhury.

Here are the list of the private hospitals for Covid-19 Vaccination:

SUM Hospital, KIMS, Kalinga Hospital, Blue Wheel Hospital, Aditya Care Hospital, Ashwini Hospital, AMRI Hospital, Utkal Hospital, Neelachal Hospital, Care Hospital and Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital.
