Bhubaneswar: The School & Mass Education department of Odisha today announced that schools across the State will remain shut in view of the Bharat Bandh tomorrow.
The School & Mass Education department has directed the authorities of all government and private schools to keep the institutes closed with an aim to avoid any untoward incident during the nation-wide strike called by the farmers.
The Skill Development and Technical Education (SD&TE) Department also said that all institutes including all ITIs, Polytechnics and Engineering Colleges will remain closed tomorrow due to the bandh.
Meanwhile, the authorities of Utkal University also postponed the fifth-semester examination of +3 students of all streams Arts, Science and Commerce due to the bandh. The exam will be held on March 30, 2021, it said.
It is worthwhile to mention here that farmer unions across the country have called a complete ‘Bharat Bandh’ tomorrow in protest against three agricultural laws.
The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) also has extended its support to the nation-wide bandh.
