In what can be considered as a piece of good news for the job seekers especially for those who wish to make a carrier in the banking sector, Union Finance Minister of India Nirmala Sitharaman said that as many as 41,177 posts are lying vacant at different Public Sector Banks.
The Finance Minister, in a written reply at the Parliament on Monday, informed that there are 8,05,986 sanctioned posts and 41,177 vacant posts in Public Sector Banks. The vacancies, which include various posts of Clerk, officer, and sub-staff, are as of 1st December 2021.
These vacant posts are a total of 5% of sanctioned posts that are vacant in the Public Sector Banks, she added.
