7 deaths reported in 3 days due to Diarrhea outbreak in Odisha’s Rourkela

At least seven people have lost their lives within a span of three days amid diarrhea outbreak in Rourkela of Odisha.

Rourkela: As per the latest update, at least seven people have lost their lives within a span of three days amid diarrhea outbreak in Rourkela of Odisha. The situation has caused alarming concern to the local people.

Reports from reliable sources state that, the district administration along with the health department has initiated taking necessary measures. Over 300 people have been diagnosed with diarrhea amid the outbreak in Rourkela.

Meanwhile, a special team comprising of experts from Bhubaneswar has arrived in Rourkela to assess the situation. Further, another team of medical experts from Sundargarh has also reached Rourkela to examine the patients.

Rourkela MLA Sarada Nayak and Sundargarh collector Harshad Parag have reached the hospital to assess the gravity of the situation.

The concerned teams continue to investigate, in order the find the reason behind the Diarrhea outbreak in Rourkela. The exact reason behind the outbreak is yet to be ascertained. Further details into the matter are awaited.
