Nayagarh: As many as 24 people have been injured as a tourist bus overturned near Nayagarh.
The accident has taken place near Dimirijhari school in Nuagaon area of Nayagarh.
The bus is of Namagarh area of Chattisgarh. The 45 tourists were en-route to Jagannath Temple in Puri.
The incident occurred after they had visited the Jagannath Temple and were going to Nursinghanath temple.
According to locals the accident occurred due to carelessness of the driver. He missed the humps and lost control over the wheels and the bus overturned.
The locals instantly helped the passengers. They called the fire fighters and local police.
The injured were admitted to the Nayagarh Hospital.
The driver escaped from the scene. The police are investigating into the matter.
