Berhampur: The Vigilance officials conducted raids at the residence of Prashant Kumar Nayak, DLR typist working at Govt Lingaraj Law College in Berhampur and recovered 18 lakh cash from his possession.
The officials also conducted simultaneous searches at Nayak’s triple storied building-cum-motor spare parts shop at Aska Road, Berhampur, his triple storied residential building at Bank Colony, Berhampur, his double storied godown at Aska road, Berhampur, his rented godown at Brundabati Nagar, Berhampur, and his rented godown at Bishnunagar, Berhampur.
During the search, a hard cash of Rs 18,05,010 has been recovered from the house of Nayak. Till last reports came in, the searches were underway.
