Rayagada: A 12-year-old boy died and three others sustained severe injuries after they were attacked by a swarm of bees in Rayagada district today. The injured are undergoing treatment at the Rayagada District Headquarter Hospital.
The incident took place at Bheja village in the district when the victims were playing in an open space near the village. The deceased was identified as Palaka Samba.
“We heard the victims crying for help and immediately rushed to the spot and rescued them. We also rushed them to the hospital where one of the victims was declared received dead,” said an eyewitness.
