Mumbai Indians beat KKR to set up FINAL clash with RPS
The Mumbai Indians trounced Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Qualifier 2 to seal a berth in IPL 10 final. They will now take on Rising Pune Supergiant who are already there by virtue of a win over MI in the playoff.
Batting first, the KKR bundled out for a paltry 107 in 18.5 overs. Suryakumar Yadav 31 and Ishank Jaggi 28 were the top scorers.
Karn Sharma took 4 wickets, while Jasprit Bumrah took 3 wickets. Mitchell Johnson took two wickets.
The Mumbai Indians lost a few quick wickets, but KKR did not have a good total to defend. Mumbai reached 111/4 in 14.3 overs to win the match by 6 wickets.
Krunal Pandya was the top scorer with 45*, while Rohit Sharma made 26. Karn Sharma was adjudged the ‘Player of the Match’.
