The 5th and final India vs England Test begins today. England has won the toss and opted to bat first against India. The final India vs England Test is taking place at the HPCA Cricket Stadium in Dharamsala.

After winning the Ranchi Test, the Men in Blue will be aiming to end the series in style. It is to be noted that team India is currently leading the series with a 3-1 score.

It is noteworthy mentioning that this Test will mark Ravichandran Ashwin’s 100th Test match.

Let us talk about the pitch report of the HPCA cricket stadium in Dharamsala. The ground in Dharamsala is known to be favorable to batters in the first phase. However, it is likely to turn friendly for the bowlers after Day 2. Hence, it is preferable for the toss winning team to opt to bat first.

Meanwhile, the weather in Dharamsala is expected to remain “cloudy, rainy, and chilly.” While the temperature is expected to range between 19 to 12 degree Celsius, there lies a 94 percent possibility of rainfall. Forecasts from the Indian Meteorological Department suggests rainfall for the first two days. However, the weather is likely to improve in the last three days.
