Hockey World Cup: Argentina, New Zealand win on Day-2

Bhubaneswar: Team Argentina and Team New Zealand were the winners of the second day of the ongoing Hockey World Cup 2018 at the Kalinga stadium.

While Argentina defeated Spain with a score of 4-3 in the first match of the second day of the tournament, New Zealand outplayed France 2-1 in the second match.

Gonzalo Peillat (3 goals) and Agustin Mazzilli (1) scored for Argentina. Enrique Gonzalez, Josep Romeu and Vincent Ruiz were the goal scorers for Spain.

On the other hand, Kane Russell and Stephen Jenness guided New Zealand to a win over France.

Victor Charlet scored the lone goal for France.
