The new captain of Mumbai Indians and all-rounder of team India Hardik Pandya received a grand welcome at the Reliance Industries in Jamnagar. The video of the kingly welcome is now rolling over the internet.
In the video, Hardik Pandya was spotted reaching Jamnagar in his car and was greeted with numerous horses and musical instruments. The men on the horses later rallied behind Pandya.
Earlier this month, Hardik Pandya was selected as captain of Mumbai Indians for Indian Premiere League (IPL) 2024 by taking over the 10-year captaincy of Rohit Sharma.
Pandya led Gujarat Titans to win IPL 2022. He was traded back to Mumbai Indians after two years.

MI have always been exceptional leadership right from Sachin to Harbhajan and Ricky to Rohit, who while contributing to success have always had an eye in strengthening the team for upcoming years. Keeping with this philosophy, Hardik Pandya will assume captaincy of Mumbai Indians for the IPL 2024,” said Mahela Jayawardene while speaking about the giving of captaincy to Hardik Pandya.
