The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released a detailed advertisement for the recruitment of Statistical Assistant posts under the Directorate of Agriculture & Food Production.

A total of 35 Statistical Assistant posts will be filled up during this recruitment drive. The examination fee has been exempted for all categories of candidates.

Important dates:

Online registration: From January 3 to February 2, 2024
Submission of Online Application Form: From January 3 to February 5, 2024
Date of editing of online application form: From January 3 to February 7, 2024

Mode of application:

Online mode only through the website www.ossc.gov.in. No physical copy/ hard copy of the online application form needs to be submitted by the applicant.

Candidates must have passed Degree in Art or Science or Commerce or equivalent degree having Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Statistic or Computer Application or Physics or Economics or applied Economics or Agriculture Economics or Agriculture Statistics as one of the main Subject from any of the recognized university.

The applicants should not be below 21 years of age or above 38 years. However, there will be relaxation for the deserving candidates.

Place and date of written examination:

Tentative date for preliminary examination (if conducted) will be in between the month of February-April, 2024. The exact date, time and venue will be conveyed in due course though a notice and/or admission letter.
The date, time and venue of the main written examination, CST, certificate verification will be conveyed to the candidates by Notice and admission letter in due course. The admission letters can be downloaded by the eligible candidates by accessing the commission’s website from time to time.

The selected candidates will get Pay Matrix Level & scale of pay (as per 7^th Pay Commission) as per the Level-9 of ORSP, 2017.
