The Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) has released a fresh notification for recruitment to Management Trainee and Junior Management Trainee posts.

The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up a total of 68 vacancies in various categories of the organization in Bhubaneswar. The vacancies are available for Management Trainees in HRD, Finance, Law, and Telecom disciplines, as well as Junior Management Trainees in Finance and Telecom disciplines.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these positions online from 25th August 2023 till 24th of September 2023.

Candidates should possess a Diploma, Engineering Degree, Law Degree, Graduate Degree, PG Diploma, or PG Degree from a recognized board or university.

Selection process

The candidates will be selected on the basis of a Computer Based Test (CBT) and a Personal Interview.

OPTCL Recruitment 2023: Educational Qualifications

The candidate should have passed a Diploma/ Graduate with Inter CA/ Engineering Degree/ Law / PG Diploma/ PG Degree from a recognized board/ university.

Age Limit

Candidate must not be under 21 years of age and must not be above 32 years as of 1st August 2023.

Salary Details

The Management Trainee (MT) shall be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs. 50,000/- per month during the period of training. On successful completion of training, the candidates will be appointed as Assistant Manager (E-3 Grade) in the respective cadre on probation for one (1) year in the Pay Matrix of Rs. 56,100/- to Rs.1,77,500/- (Level: EE-2) with initial Basic Pay of Rs.56,100/.
The Junior Management Trainee (Jr. MT) shall be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs. 30,000/- per month during the period of training. On successful completion of training, the candidates will be appointed as Junior Manager (E-2) Grade in the respective cadre on probation for one (1) year in the Pay Matrix of Rs. 44,900/- to Rs.1,42,400/- (Level: EE-1) with initial Basic Pay of Rs.44,900/.

Application Fee

The UR and SEBC candidates need to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 1180, while the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 590.
