OPSC recruitment 2024: Notice out for 621 Assistant Engineer posts, Apply from January 12

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released a new notification for recruitment to fill up Assistant manager vacancies in 2024. The official application link for the recruitment drive will open on the official website at www.opsc.gov.in  on January 12, 2024. The eligible candidates can submit the applications by February 12, 2024.

Note that the selection of the candidates will be based on the applicant’s score in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering ( GATE ) and interview. The candidate must be a citizen of India and must know to speak, write and read Odia.

OPSC Recruitment 2024 vacancy details:

Out of the total 621 vacancies, 580 are for Assistant Engineer (Civil) positions, 41 are for the Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) positions.

Eligibility Criteria

The job aspirants who want to apply for the recruitment drive should have a degree in civil engineering and or a a degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute or university. The age limit of the candidate must be between 21 to 38 years as on January 1, 2021 that is he/she must not be born earlier than 02/01/1983 and not later than 01/01/2002.

Moreover, age relaxation for candidates in different categories is available as per government rules.

Application fee:

Candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
