Assam school teacher recruitment 2023: Over 10,000 job vacancies announced

The Assam government has announced over 10,000 vacancies for graduate and post-graduate teachers in the education department.

The Assam Government has announced mega vacancies for graduate and post-graduate teachers posts in the education department. The selected candidates will be posted in the different provincialised secondary schools under the Directorate of Secondary Education of the state.

The detailed notification contains the district-wise, subject-wise, medium-wise, and category-wise vacancy details at madhyamik.assam.gov.in and dee.assam.gov.in.

The application dates and the recruitment exam dates will also be posted on the official website.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced via an X post that, ” Today, our government has released vacancies for over 10,000 posts in the Education Department. We will not only deliver, but exceed our promise of creating more than 1 lakh government jobs in the most transparent manner in Assam’s history.”

Furthermore, Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu said in his posts on X that the Directorate of Secondary Education has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 1424 Post Graduate Teachers and 7249 (1) Graduate Teachers (Arts), (2) Graduate Teacher (Science), (3) Graduate Teachers (Hindi) and (4) Graduate Teacher (Sanskrit) of the different Provincialised Secondary Schools.”

Moreover, another notification by Directorate of Elementary Education has invited applications for 3800 Assistant Teachers of LP Schools and 1750 Assistant Teachers, Science Teachers and Hindi Teacher of UP Schools.
