OPSC Post Graduate Teacher recruitment: 1375 vacancies to be filled up, check details
A total of 1375 posts of Post Graduate Teachers recruited in 50 government higher secondary school and 106 Upgraded Higher Secondary Schools of the state.
Online applications are invited by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) from the prospective candidates through the proforma application to be made available on the website of the commission for the recruitment of Post Graduate Teachers.
The link for registration and submission of online application shall be available from January 31, 2024 to March 2.

Age limits:
- A candidate must not be below the age of 21 years and above 38 years as on the 1st day of January 2023 i.e he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1985 and not later than 1st January, 2002. However, there will be relaxation for the deserving candidates.
Educational qualification:
- The candidates must have Master’s Degree in subject concerned from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate and have possessed two years Post Graduate Master’s Course or integrated six years Post Graduate Master’s Course from Regional College of Education recognized by NCERT in the concerned subject with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate.
- Have B.Ed. or equivalent degree recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi as equivalent with B.Ed. from a recognized University. Provided that B.Ed qualification shall not be the mandatory eligibility criteria for the post of PGT in the subjects where B.Ed course is not offered.
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Application is desirable qualification subject to production of the certificate in support of above qualification obtained from a recognized University or College or Institution having affiliation to a recognized University.
Examination fee:
- No examination fee is required to be paid for applying or appearing in the recruitment as per Odisha Discontinuance of payment of application and examination fee for recruitment to different posts and services in the State Government Rule, 2022.
