Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has invited online applications for the recruitment of 56 posts of Traffic Constable as Initial Appointees under State Transport Authority, Commerce & Transport (Transport) Department, Government of Odisha.

OSSC Traffic Constable Recruitment 2022 age limit

• The minimum age for the post is 21 Years and must not exceed 38 years of age as on 1^st January 2021 to be eligible to apply for the post as per the provision of Odisha Civil services (Fixation of upper age limit) Amendment Rules, 2022 notified vide Notification No.771-GAD-SC-RULES-0008/2016/Gen. dated 11.01.2022. However, there will be relaxation for the reserved categories.

Odisha Traffic Constable vacancy 2022 educational qualification

• The candidate to be eligible to apply for the post must have passed + 2 Examination or equivalent examination conducted by Recognised Board/University/Institution. And
• He/She must have passed Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject, or have passed High School Certificate Examination or equivalent examination with Odia as a subject/medium of examination in non-Language subject, or have passed in Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class VII or above or have passed a test in Odia in M.E. School Standard conducted by the School & Mass Education Department.

OSSC Traffic Constable Recruitment 2022 examination fee

• The candidates other than SC/ST/PwD (having Permanent Disability) category have to pay a non-refundable examination fee of Rs 200.
