Woman Maoist Killed in encounter in Odisha’s Kandhamal
Phulbani: A woman Maoist was gunned down in an encounter with security forces near Tunudibandha forests in Odisha’s Kandhamal district on Wednesday.
Police have seized as many as four guns, three grenades and other weapons from the spot.
The combing operation, conducted by SOG & DVF personnel, was underway in the forest area when the last reports came in.
Earlier on the day, Maoists’ posters were surfaced at Parampanga village under Baliguda sub-division in the district asking people of the region to boycott the upcoming general elections.
