Maoist Posters Surface In Kandhamal, Asks People To Boycott Polls

Kandhamal: Maoist posters were found at Sukingia and Parampanga village under Baliguda sub-division of Kandhamal district on Wednesday morning.

Through the posters, the red rebels have urged the people not to take part in the upcoming 2019 general elections.

As per reports, the posters have been put up by the Baghuna divisional committee of the CPI (Maoists) outfit. The rebels have also urged people to form a ‘government of revolutionaries’.

After receiving a tip-off from the locals, police reached the spot and seized the posters. As a precautionary measure, combing operations have been expedited in the area.
