Woman ends life in Odisha’s Malkangiri district, reason unknown
In an unfortunate incident, a woman reportedly ended her life by hanging herself with a rope in Odisha’s Malkangiri district today.
Malkangiri: In an unfortunate incident, a woman reportedly ended her life by hanging herself with a rope in Odisha’s Malkangiri district today.
The woman, who has been identified as Momi Tati, took the extreme step at Kunapali village under MV-79 Police Station limits of the district.
While the exact reason behind the woman committing suicide is yet to be known, a team of cops from the MV-79 Police Station reached the village and started an investigation by sending her body for postmortem.
Police are also interrogating the family members and neighbours to get some lead in the case, informed MV-79 Police Station IIC adding that the exact reason what prompted Tati to take the extreme steps will be known after the completion of probe by a scientific team, which will reach the spot from Koraput.
