Winter session of Odisha Assembly to begin from November 13, likely to be stormy
Bhubaneswar: The winter session of the Odisha Assembly will commence from November 13 and will continue till December 19.
Speaking to media persons, Parliamentary Affairs minister Bikram Keshari Arukha said the State government will present the supplementary budget at the Assembly on the first day of the Session.
Besides, the State government is likely to table some important Bills in the Winter Session.
The Opposition BJP and Congress may corner the BJD government by raising various people’ issues in the Session.
Opposition party chief whip Mohan Majhi said, BJP will raise the issue of recent death of a state government official and PMAY irregularities etc.
Congress leaders have earlier said that they will raise the issue of 5T and farmers’ distress.
