Bhubaneswar: Drunk couple in Bhubaneswar create a ruckus on National Highway, and drive on the wrong side at high speed on late Monday night.
This incident has been reported from Bhubaneswar the capital city of Odisha. The couple were driving at high speed on the opposite side of the road from CRP square to Tamanda square in Bhubaneswar, said reliable reports.
The drunk couple in Bhubaneswar were seen travelling on a gearless scooter at a speed of around 60 to 70 kmph on the opposite side of the road on the National Highway. The visual of the entire act has gone viral and the video of the dangerous act has been widely shared on various social media platforms.
The eye witness and onlookers have said that, the couple seemed to be badly drunk and were almost unaware of the dangers in their act. The drivers on the National Highway were at their wits end.
In the video it is further seen that the couple were riding at a high speed and they almost ram into a truck when the truck driver is forced to slow down and stop his vehicle.
After this video became viral on social media, questions were raised as to the safety of people on the National Highway. It has also raised concerns about the absence of National Highway police patrolling. A detailed report in this regard is however awaited.
