According to reports the accident took place on the bypass of NH-49 near Mochi village, Keonjhar town police station. A cyclist died on the spot after being hit by a truck.
According to information later, the local people blocked the road causing traffic problems at the scene said reports.
Locals blocked one side of NH-49 and tension erupted at the scene. After receiving the information, the town police reached the spot and conducted an investigation and after explaining the situation to the bystanders, the roadblock was removed.
Later the Police seized the body and sent it to the Keonjhar District Headquarter Hospital (DHH) for and autopsy. Detailed reports awaited in this regard.
