Keonjhar: In a shocking incident, a man allegedly hacked his father and mother to death over family dispute in Basira village under Champua police limits of Keonjhar on Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as father Gurucharan Munda and mother Pali Munda.
As per reports, both father and son Dhyan Munda entered into a verbal altercation and in a fit of rage, Dhyan attacked his father and mother with a sharp weapon. Following which his father died on the spot and mother sustained critical injuries.
She was immediately rushed to the sub-divisional hospital in Keonjhar for treatment. However, she succumbed to her injuries.
On being informed about the incident, the Champua police reached the spot and have arrested Dhyan Munda. Later, the police started an investigation into the matter.
