Senior IPS officer Arun Kumar Sarangi has been appointed as the Odisha DGP in-charge said reports on Saturday.
Bhubaneswar: Senior IPS officer Arun Kumar Sarangi has been appointed as the Odisha DGP in-charge said reports on Saturday.
Arun Kumar Sarangi, IPS (RR-1990) at present the Special D.G. of Police, Training and Director, BPSPA is allowed to remain in an additional charge of D.G. of Police, Odisha until a regular DGP joins.
Sarangi, is a 1990 batch IPS officer of Odisha cadre. it is worth mentioning here that he will remain as DGP in charge until the regular DGP is appointed.
The retirement of DGP Sunil Kumar Bansal is scheduled to take place on December 31, 2023 that is tomorrow.
