Rayagada: Maoists torch 9 trucks & machinery at factory site
Nearly nine heavy equipment and tipper trucks were set on blaze by armed Maoists who stormed into a factory site located in Rayagada district.
Rayagada: Nearly nine heavy equipment and tipper trucks were set on blaze by armed Maoists who stormed into a factory site located at Muniguda in Rayagada district on Friday night.
The incident has come to fore from Deokupuli Chowk in Muniguda.
According to sources, a group of 10 armed Maoists launched the arson. Due to this, two excavators, five tipper trucks, and two tractors were set on fire during the incident.
After receiving information about the matter, Rayagada police reached the spot and launched a probe into the incident. The cops have also recovered Maoist posters from the spot.
