Pralay missile test fired from Abdul Kalam Island of the coast of Odisha

The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has successfully tested the Pralay missile from the Abdul Kalam Island of the coast of Balasore on Tuesday.

Balasore: The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has successfully tested the Pralay missile from the Abdul Kalam Island of the coast of Balasore on Tuesday.

According to reports, the Pralay missiles have an ability to target and destroy any enemy base from 150 to 500 kilometers away. This ballistic missile is capable of carrying weapons weighing around 350 to 700 kg, which makes it more lethal. These missiles have a precise navigation capability and high speed making them more effective.

It is worth mentioning that, if the missile is fired from near the LOC, China’s bunkers, cannons, etc. can be destroyed. The ground-to-ground missile Pralay is built on the Prithvi missile system.

This missile system was started to be manufactured in 2015 and it was tested successfully on December 21 and 22 in the year 2022. A team of  DRDO officers and scientists were present on while it was tested from the island off the coast of Odisha today.
