Bhubaneswar: The Ollywood superstar turned BJD leader Arindham Roy meet the Central Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, said reports. The meeting took place at a private resort in Dhabaleswar under Athagarh district of Odisha.

According to reports since the 2019 elections, there has been talk that Arindam may be a candidate from any seat in Cuttack for the upcoming 2024 elections. Now the meeting of the actor with Union Minister has provided a major field for political discussion. The actor and the minister however had a closed-door meeting.

It is worth mentioning that Arindam was displeased for not being given a ticket in the 2019 General Elections. While the reason for meeting Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw is yet to be ascertained, the actor has not given any response to the media relating to the discussions in the meeting.
