Odisha vigilance has arrested a warrantee who has been identified as Bhikari Pradhan of Gareijholi village under Polasara police station limits of Ganjam district.
Koraput: Odisha vigilance has arrested a warrantee who was absconding since long. He has been identified as Bhikari Pradhan of Gareijholi village under Polasara police station limits of Ganjam district.
The vigilance sleuths arrested Pradhan from his village on the strength of Non-bailable warrants (NBW) issued by the Court of Special Judge Vigilance in Jeypore. He was produced before the court after his arrest.
Pradhan was wanted in connection with Berhampur Vigilance PS case No.05 dated.20.01.1997 U/s 13(2) r/w 13 (1)(d) P.C. Act 1988/471/ 468/420/120-B IPC who was avoiding arrest for being one of 33 accused persons and had got appointment as Constable in O.S.A.P. 3rd Bn., Koraput by producing fake educational certificate.
