Odisha to experience heavy rainfall: orange warning for 7 districts, yellow alert for 15

Bhubaneswar: Heavy rainfall in Odisha is likely for the next four days, orange warning for seven districts, and a yellow alert for 15 on Tuesday.

Warning for September 5, 2023: 

Heavy to very heavy Rainfall (7 to 20cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Boudh, Kandhamal and Angul an orange alert has been issued to these seven districts.

Heavy Rainfall (7 to 11cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Dhenkanal, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Bolangir, Sonepur, Koraput, and Malkangiri a yellow warning has been issued to these 15 districts.

It is worth mentioning that, thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at isolated places over these districts of Odisha.

Warning for September 6, 2023: 

Heavy to very heavy Rainfall (7 cm to 20 cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput and Nabarangpur an orange alert has been issued to these three districts.

Heavy Rainfall (7 to 11cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Rayagada, Kandhamal, Boudh, Nuapada, Bolangir, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Kalahandi, Sonepur and Sambalpur, a yellow warning has been issued to these 13 districts.

Warning for September 7, 2023: 

Heavy Rainfall (7 to 11cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nawarangpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nuapada, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Kalahandi, and Bolangir, a yellow warning has been issued to these 13 districts.

Warning for September 8, 2023:  

Heavy rainfall (7 to 11cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Sonepur, Bolangir, Nawarangpur and Nuapada, a yellow warning has been issued to these nine districts.
